The Consultative Meeting with ICM projects’ Coordinators Representing Almaty Higher Education Institutions

The National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan will be conducting the Consultative Meeting with the ICM projects’ coordinators, representing Almaty Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on 29 May 2017 in Almaty. These ICM projects have been selected as the result of Call II (2016, 1 and 2 rounds). 25 HEIs of Almaty, which ICM projects were funded under Call II, take part in this initiative supported by the European Commission.

International Seminar «Revising the Content of Teacher Training Curricula in Line with Modern Approaches»

The National Erasmus+ Office jointly with the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Kazakhstan with the support of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (ЕАСЕА) of the European Commission will be conducting an international seminar «Revising the Content of Teacher Training Curricula in Line with Modern Approaches» The event will take place in Taraz (Kazakhstan) on 14-15 May 2017 and will be hosted by the Dulati Taraz State University.

The objectives of the Seminar are:

  • Familiarise the seminar participants with the current trends in European teacher training practices with specific focus on curriculum design and teaching methodology.
  • Develop recommendations for redesigning the content and methodology of teacher training in Kazakhstan.

Dr. Hannele Niemi, Professor of University of Helsinki, will take part in the seminar as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RK, Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs), Vice-Rectors for Academic Affairs, Heads of Study Programmes in Education.

European Union Projects Fair in the framework of Europe Day 2017 celebration

The European Union Delegation is conducting the European Union Projects Fair in the framework of Europe Day 2017 on 31 May.

Europe Day, held on 9 May every year, celebrates peace and unity in Europe. The European Union Delegation to Kazakhstan marks this event annually since 1999 through the set of actions promoting cultures of EU Member-States, European education and EU-Kazakhstan cooperation.

International Seminar «Developing Research Capacity at higher education institutions of Kazakhstan: Teaching research and supervision of PhD programs»

The National Erasmus+ Office jointly with the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Kazakhstan with the support of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (ЕАСЕА) of the European Commission will be conducting an international seminar «Developing Research Capacity at higher education institutions of Kazakhstan: Teaching research and supervision of PhD programmes».

The event will take place in Astana (Kazakhstan) on 17-18 May 2017 and will be hosted by the Nazarbayev University..
