Support for policy reform
Erasmus+ programme in Kazakhstan is coordinated by the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (NEO).
The Office was founded in 2005. From 2005 until 2014 it coordinated the Tempus programme and was called as the National Tempus Office in Kazakhstan.
The main activities of the National Erasmus+ Office includes: informational support regarding relevant programmes, assistance in partner search, coordination of the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs), as well as monitoring of Tempus projects.

In 2007 under the support of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency and by the agreement of the Ministry of Education and Science the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) was established in Kazakhstan.
Mission – to promote modernization of higher education system in accordance with the Bologna process objectives.
